What is a Broadcast?
A broadcast can be used to send an update on occasional events, for example, a special offer in the restaurant.
Broadcasts are built in much the same way as Campaigns, which you can read about here:
To create one, go to Broadcast in the menu to the left or use this link:
When you create a broadcast, you will see that, compared to a Campaign, the Trigger has been replaced with Time.
You can send the broadcast immediately, as seen in the image above, or schedule it for a specific date and time, as seen in the image below.
Once you have decided the time when the Broadcast will be sent (either immediately or at a specific date and time), the Campaign will only be sent once (contrary to Journey Campaigns that are sent regularly at multiple times).
The rest of the process is the same as when building a Campaign.
