🔵 FB Messenger: When switching providers
In the case when you’re switch from a provider also managing FB Messenger there could be a situation where you need to update your Handover protocol (Handover Protocol):
When you get a chance, could you please log in to an administrator's account for your Facebook Page, select
the appropriate FB from the profile drop down and:
- Navigate to Settings & Privacy
- Navigate to Settings
- In the sidebar click on Page setup
- Then on the central panel click View under Advanced Messaging
- Finally, under App Settings click Configure next to Messenger Receiver
You will be presented with a Primary Receiver setting - could you please make sure that BookBoost is configured as the Primary Receiver if it is not already.
