⚙️ Create a Broadcast

To create a Broadcast, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Broadcasts
    1. Go to Broadcast on the left menu in the Bookboost platform or click here.

       
  1. Click “+ Campaign”
    1. In the top-right corner, click the green + Campaign button.

  1. Choose Campaign Type
    1. You’ll be asked whether you want to:

       

      Note: If you select the option Duplicate and existing campaign you will be automatically skipped Step 4. As the template you have selected will duplicate depending of the channel you have.

      Pro Tip: If you need to set up a new omnichannel campaign (including both email and SMS), and If you already have a campaign that is well-suited for email but not yet configured for SMS, we recommend duplicating the existing campaign rather than starting from scratch. Once duplicated, you can configure the new campaign by adding SMS as a channel and creating the corresponding SMS template.

       
  1. Select Channels
    1. Choose which channels you want to use:

      • Email
        • Note: If you are not sure yet which would be the best channels to use, don’t worry! You can easily change this setting later on under “Channel Preferences” and rank the order in which you would like the message to be delivered.

  1. Name Your Campaign
    1. Example: Weekend Promo

       
  1. Select Property
    1. Choose the property this broadcast is intended for.

  1. Assign Categories (Optional)
    1. If there’s no suitable existing category, you can create a new one (e.g. Promo). Simply type the name and click to save it.

  1. Click “Create Campaign”
    1. When all fields are completed, click the green Create Campaign button to finalize your setup.
